CSP works by using lots of mirrors that reflect sunlight to heat a fluid which fills a resevoir that stores that heat energy.
CSP is the only clean energy source other than geothermal that can provide the world with on demand electricity.
CSP would be cheaper than complete CO2 sequesteration needed for clean coal.
CSP would also be cheaper than nuclear if deployed on a large scale.
CSP only uses desert land, not forests.
CSP on a small scale can be used on rooftops just as conventional PV.
CSP can supply the world with unlimited energy, yes unlimited energy!
CSP is labor intinsive, as with all renewable energy, thus millions of jobs and millions more secondary jobs would boost the economy.
CSP needs water for cooling which could be piped in from the ocean resulting in distilled water for cleaning mirrors.
CSP deployed on a massive scale would save up to 60 times the emissions needed to create it.
CSP, after initial phase in, will use its own electricity to further build a green grid!
CSP on a largescale can power an all electric vehicle fleet eliminating the need to import oil.
